International Infection Prevention Day

Location:: SKMC Main Lobby, Besides Cafeteria & in Medical Pavilion next to D0 ICU

The activities from 9am – 1pm are as follows:

· Respiratory Etiquette for the Public & Healthcare Workers –“Cover Your Cough” Leaflets & Hand Hygiene, hand sanitizers will be displayed

· Education Awareness for Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) & Communicable Diseases with pamphlets for the below :

ü MRSA

ü TB

ü Acinetobacter MDR

· N95 Face Fit Testing will be done for those Healthcare Workers who were not fit tested earlier (3M)

· Testing the effectiveness of the hand hygiene - reduction of bio-burden by using 3M Clean-Trace device

· Display of Hand Culture & Environmental Culture results

2pm -4pm – Link Certification Program at Village Square with Lunch Buffet
